| Hostesses & Mama-to-be: Lindsay, Kristi, Katie & Maggie |
Lindsay, Kristi and I had a power meeting over breakfast at Panera a few weeks ago to make sure we planned a very special party for Katie. I was in charge of invitations and picked a cute chalkboard style invite from Tiny Prints. Side note - I love Tiny Prints. They have the cutest products. I ordered Campbell's birth announcement from them and our 2012 family Christmas card as well.
Back to the shower... sticking with the chalkboard style, I made a welcome sign for my front steps.
And I dressed up a holiday wreath with some baby-pink ornaments. All from Target. Have I mentioned I also LOVE Target? :)
Lindsay and Kristi did most of the food and I think it turned out wonderfully! We had a full spread of goodies. Chicken salad sandwiches, spinach dip, avocado/cranberry/orange dip, pear pancetta crisps with goat cheese, cookies and cupcakes.
Lindsay made the cutest little flags for the cupcakes, which were from Whole Foods. They were delicious! Super moist and we had a variety of flavors. The chocolate mint and chocolate peanut butter were my favorite (yes, I may have had one for my birthday breakfast the next morning).
And I was thrilled to have a reason to use my Anna Weatherly and Herend china that I received as wedding presents.
Kristi made a yummy punch that everyone loved.
And she also made the most adorable "Baby Love" banner that we hung from my mantle.
We had all the guests sign a book for Katie and Baby Norwood as a keepsake from the shower. Katie is a bookworm so baby girl probably will be too! :)
Lindsay made our party favor - peppermint bark wrapped with a note that read "Thank You for sharing your baby love!"

We are so excited for Baby N to arrive in about a month!! We love you Katie!

Looks like such a sweet party!
ReplyDeleteSo incredibly cute! I am a huge Tiny Prints fan, too, and I love their chalkboard line. I just did a post today about a shower that I had at my house recently! :)
ReplyDeleteLove love love! You did SUCH a great job. I have to host a baby shower in the spring and hope I can do just as great of a job.
