13 Months

Another month has come and gone!  I'm a little bit late but not as late as I was last month. Progress, people.

I'm beginning to sound a bit trite but I am just amazed at how quickly our little guy is growing up.  I wish I could pause this moment in time for a bit longer.  I feel like any day now full sentences are going to come out of his mouth.  He looks at me so seriously and says a mouthful of gibberish that I can't understand but I know he is communicating something important.

For the most part, Campbell is the happiest little boy.  He loves playing "peekaboo" or hide and chase type games.  He's silly and giggles all the time.  That is one sound that I will NEVER get tired of hearing!

Campbell is mastering the art of climbing.  He loves to go up the stairs (with Mommy's supervision, of course) and he begs to get up on the couch and bed.  TC taught him how to get down by going backwards and putting his legs down first.  Campbell is now a pro!

We have lots of spontaneous dance parties at our house.  Daddy will turn up the Sirius radio and Campbell will start jamming.  He's got some pretty sweet moves - knee bounce, spins/twirls, and snaps.  Well, he can't snap but he sees us snapping and imitates with his fingers.  I think C loves oldies the best, but he has been known to rock out to some Coldplay with Mommy!

Campbell loves his bath, and I really enjoy bathing him.  He's so happy to splash around the water and play with his toys.

We are still very much loving books at our house these days.  Campbell likes to turn the pages, sometimes before you can even finish reading the words on that page!

Our little man LOVES playing outside.  I would say that is his favorite thing to do and he gets most excited when he realizes we are going out to play.  He will beg to go out by putting his hands on the front door and making a little whining noise.  I think this is his way of telling us "Let's GO!" :)

Happy 13 months little man!  We are having a ball watching you learn and grow.  You are such a blessing to our lives.  We love you to the moon and back!
